I have enjoyed delving deeply into each of the first six psalms. I have done my own translations, which is as Chaim Bialik  the Hebrew poet said, “Like kissing a bride through a veil.” Each translation is an interpretation, both words meaning a bridge of language. And yet, the beauty, the structure, the word choices, the intense feelings of the psalter do come through in English too.
